In a large skillet brown up a pound of ground beef once cooked drain off any grease
Add garlic and cream of mushroom soup and combine well
add hash browns and allow to cook together over medium heat for about 5 mins, if you are using frozen hash browns you will need to cook those in the skillet before you add to meat mixture. I use refrigerated ones for this reason.
As that is cooking shred colby jack cheese - or any cheese you desire.
Once everything is combined well and heated up turn down heat on skillet to low medium add cheese to the top and add lid for a few minutes until cheese melts.
Slice up some green onion and once cheese melts add green onion to the top
Serve warm
