In a 9x13 dish pour two cans of cherry pie filling on to the bottom and smooth out until it covers the bottom of the dish. I don't grease my 9X13 but you can if you want.
Then on top of the cherry pie filling pour cake mix and smooth even until it covers the pie filling.
Then take one and half sticks of butter and slice and put the pads of butter on top covering the entire cake.
Bake at 350 until gold and bubbly around 45-55 mins
