Grab an 8×8
Mix ⅔ of the cool whip with the ½ gallon of ice cream (I like to add some sprinkles in the mix)
Crush all the cakes and place in the bottom of the 8x8
Next, add the cool whip/ice cream mix to the top of the crushed up cakes
Use the remaining cool whip as icing for the cake
Cover with aluminum foil and freeze over night
when ready to serve, let it sit at room temperature then slice with a hot knife (just run it under hot water)
