I don't know what screams cook out more than S'mores! If you or your kids are S'mores lovers then you will have to try this American Flag S'mores dip! It's not only festive but is the perfect twist to the traditional S'mores you know and love!

It's super simple to put together, and one the kids would for sure love to help with. So get them helping and creating fun recipes and memories with you in the kitchen.

I mean how perfect is this dip for the 4th of July? Super cute right?

American Flag S'mores Dip

Simple ingredients that most of us mamas already have in their pantry during the summer months can add the perfect pizazz to that 4th of July Cookout. Now let's put this dish together and dig into this deliciousness!

Ingredients: American Flag S'mores Dip

Check out these simple ingredients!

American Flag S'mores Dip
  • 10 oz Chocolate Bars
  • 14 oz Marshmallows 
  • 3 oz Blue Sanding Sugar
  • 3 oz Red Sanding Sugar
  • 12 oz Graham Crackers

Instructions: American Flag S'mores Dip

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Take 9X13 dish and layer chocolate bars on the bottom to cover the entire dish
  • Take 12 large marshmallows and with a skewer dip and roll in the blue sanding sugar covering marshmallow completely
  • Then take those blue marshmallows placing them in the upper left hand corner 4 across and 3 deep to create the star area of the flag.

  • Take 19 large marshmallows and with skewer dip in the red sanding sugar and start at the top and place red marshmallows in a line to create the red stripe in flag.
  • Take 25 large marshmallows and then start the next line under the red marshmallows and repeat every other line with red marshmallows

  • Once all marshmallows are in line on top of the chocolate then you will want to place dish in the oven
  • Bake at 350 for 7 minutes – or until desired toasted

  • Serve immediately with graham crackers and enjoy!

Crazy Busy Mama Tip:

Instead of regular sprinkles I  prefer sanding sugar, basically the bigger rock style. It gives it a bolder look.If you are bringing this dish to a BBQ cookout you can also premake this in an aluminum pan and cook over the grill  until chocolate melts and marshmallows get slightly toasted. For this S'mores Dip I prefer the marshmallows slightly melted instead of toasted to maintain the white stripe in the flag however feel free to toast the marshmallows to your liking.
