Boo-Chetta

After brushing on oil and vinaigrette, Pop french bread in the oven to crisp up a bit for about 5 mins at 375

Take the mozzarella slices and place them on the cutting board and take a ghost cookie cutter and cut each slice – enough of them to cover the bread you sliced.

Boo-Chetta

I had a bigger ghost cookie cutter so I moved it to fit (like you see in the video and pictures below)

Boo-Chetta

the cheese creating a smaller ghost figure.

Boo-Chetta

Until it looks like this picture below. Keep scraps of cheese and set them aside.

Boo-Chetta

Rinse and drain tomatoes and take each tomato and slice diagonally in half

Boo-Chetta

then take each half and slice diagonally in half again.

Boo-Chetta

Take the 1/4 slice of each of the opposite of the first cut

Boo-Chetta

Then place them together making a heart. (see pictures below)

Boo-Chetta

Assemble and set aside.

Boo-Chetta

Make sure to create as many hearts as you do ghosts.

Boo-Chetta

Take the bread out of the oven and allow to cool for a bit so its not hot when you put the cheese on it.

Take the ghost cheese and place them on each piece of toasted bread

Boo-Chetta

Then take the pepper corns and place eyes and a nose.

Boo-Chetta

Then take the hearts that you assembled and place them on top towards the middle of each ghost

Boo-Chetta

Now take those scraps and cut them into a triangles to create hands to place by the heart – making it appear the ghost is holding the heart- like picture below.

Boo-Chetta

Salt and pepper as desired and serve immediately

I like to leave mine just like pictured, however you can drizzle more vinaigrette or glaze on top.
