Ok this one is absolutely delicious!! And if you are trying to eat a bit healthier, this one a good slow cooker recipe to try! Its just as good as take out, and if you ask me I actually prefer this one. Once you taste this one, trust me you will be putting it on your meal time rotation. Its that good!
Once you have made this one it will undoubtedly be on your future dinner rotation! Would also be amazing with these homemade Air Fryer Crab Rangoons!
This is almost as easy as a dump and go crockpot recipe. It is a two step process but so simple to do.
Here is how I did it:
Ingredients: Beef and Broccoli
- 1.5 lbs beef chuck roast boneless, sliced into thin strips
- 1 Cup beef consomme or beef broth
- 1 Cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- 1/4 Cup Corn Starch For 1/2 Last Hour Only
- 1/4 Cup drippings For 1/2 Last Hour Only
- 3 Cups Broccoli For 1/2 Last Hour Only
- sesame seeds garnish
Instructions: Beef and Broccoli
1 1/2 pound beef chuck roast boneless, sliced into thin strips
1 cup beef consomme or beef broth
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 tbsp. sesame oil
3 garlic cloves minced
Slow cooker: 5-6 hours (don’t want meat to fall apart which will happen if you cook much longer )

Last hour:
1/4 cup drippings
1/4 cup cornstarch
Mix together pour over top
Mix bag of Frozen Broccoli Florets about 3 cups (I used one 14 oz bag) or fresh broccoli
After broccoli is cooked it will look like this.
Its that easy! Simply, Serve with White or brown rice and ENJOY! I like to scoop mine just right over the top of rice!
You can even add a few sesame seeds to the top for a garnish if you wish!
You will have to try this one! I like it better than take out and so easy too!
Side Ideas:
We love jasmine rice served along with the Beef and Broccoli in a bowl for a complete meal. And don't forget to check out these amazing Crab Rangoons that would pair perfectly!
