But let's face it, “Sunday scaries” is a real thing. You know that feeling of anxiety you get on Sunday afternoon thinking about the week ahead? My kids love it when I make these Sliders, not just because they love the sliders but also because they love having some leftover meat in the fridge for whenever they need some extra protein! My late husband Quintin, was always the best at that; Making sure there was something in the fridge that the kids could grab for a protein packed after school snack. His go to for this was smoked Chicken Thighs. He always made something for an easy grab and go protein as they are always trying to get in extra protein each day! And these were perfect for snacking or easy meal options grabs for back to school!

Okay now back to the reason you are here! Easy & delicious Slider recipe for every crazy busy mama! And I do mean DELICIOUS!! These aren't just loved by my kiddos, it is one of my favorite recipes too. And there is no pasta, which is usually my favorite part of a meal, so that is saying a lot!

So let's grab those ingredients and get cooking! Here is how I did it…

How to Make Italian Beef Sliders:

How to make Italian Beef Sliders: a step by step guide

Add roast, beef broth, and Italian seasoning pack to the slow cooker. you want the liquid to almost cover the meat. So that the roast is boiling in the slow cooker

Cook on high for about 8 hours. (NO PEAKING! Keep the lid on until it is time to shred the roast. The steam helps keep the roast extra juicy!)

Once the meat is falling apart easily with a fork or tongs, shred the roast and scoop out the fat. This spoon makes that super easy!

Okay, now you are ready to make the sliders!

Or if you aren't ready to eat them yet, you can turn the slow cooker off or turn it to low and let the meat stay warm until dinner time!

Assembling the these Beef Italian Sliders:

Open your slider rolls and add the meat.

Top with provolone cheese slices, I popped mine in the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese!

Add your desired toppings. I used Roasted Red Peppers and Sliced hot cherry peppers (this makes it hot, so fair warning you may want to choose other toppings such as banana peppers and sautéed bell peppers if you want to turn down the heat)

Add your desired sauces. I used horseradish sauce and sub oil!

ENJOY!
