Ok mama, lets get to it and let me show you how I put these ghoulish treats together!
Ingredients: Bloody Band-aid Cookies
20 vanilla wafer sugar cookie
1 tbsp frosting
1 tbsp raspberry preserves
Instructions: Bloody Band-aid Cookies
Take each cookie out and take the zester and file down each square side to round to resemble a band-aid. Like image below
This Zester is everything and makes the perfect round edges that are needed for that perfect band-aid look!
Lay the filed cookies out on a cookie sheet or tray.
Take White icing and put in the shape of a square in the middle of the wafer cookie.
Then take a spoon full of your raspberry preserves and section off with a tooth pick a small glob, resembling (sounds gross I know) coagulated blood
Repeat until all cookies are done on a tray.
And enjoy them immediately!
Side Idea:
Ok mama these Bloody Band-aid Cookies are EVERYTHING as a stand alone ghoulish treat, but would go perfect with these no bake MONSTER DONUT EYEBALLS too! These paired together would be so spooky fun!
Crazy Busy Mama Tip:
Try this fun display hack…When all cookies are done add them all to a tray with a box of band-aids near by to add to the bloody band-aid effect. Also take a few band-aids out to display. These will for sure be the talk of the party!
