If you aren't making muffins for your Crazy Busy Kiddos, you are missing out on one of the simplest treats in the CBM playbook.

Seriously mamas, this Blueberry Muffins Recipe is quick and easy and will be devoured by your whole family! And I have a secret Crazy Busy Mama Tip below to help get a little more protein with each muffin, so make sure you don't miss that!
I use these little non-stick reusable muffin tin liners, and it makes prep and clean up times a breeze! I even use these for things other than just muffins and cupcakes! Like saving leftover tomato paste, and to make delicious Starbucks Copy Cat Egg Bites!
My personal favorite time to enjoy a muffin is with my morning coffee. Of course these muffins are most delicious fresh from the oven (just like cookies) but if you to reheat them, you can just add a bit of butter and pop them in the oven for a few minutes while your coffee is brewing.
The first time I made this recipe was when my kiddos were little, very little. It feels like just yesterday I had 4 little ones saying “Mama, will you play with us??” No matter what is going on, I beg you mama, take a few minutes and get on your kid's level and actually play with them. You won't regret the memories!

Anyways, the day we made these blueberries was a perfect day. We had been picking blueberries as a family and I needed something to do with the buckets of blueberries the kids gathered. If you haven't taken your kiddos to a you-pick blueberry farm, I highly recommend it! It is an outing that kids (and parents) of all ages will enjoy!
For a delightful twist, try adding lemon zest to your Blueberry Muffins for a refreshing flavor that pairs perfectly with the sweet blueberries!
Then we had leftover Blueberry Muffins Recipe for breakfast the next morning before church! It was definitely a Crazy Busy Mama win. Fellowship with friends, Blueberry Muffins Recipe for dessert and then for breakfast before church. Just perfect all around.
I could have frozen the extra blueberries, but the kids really wanted to make something with their blueberries that they could eat immediately. (yes, teaching children patience is so important but sometimes it is fun to just say yes! and do what they want to do when they want to do it!)
I considered making my Blueberry Cobbler, but I knew that would be messy and possibly leave sticky toddler handprints all over the house. Which was less than ideal since we had company coming over later that evening. Because as much as I love cobbler, it isn't the cleanest when toddlers are enjoying it.
Our friends that were coming for dinner also had children around the ages of ours. And I knew the last thing 7 kiddos under 8 needed was a bunch of sugar for dessert. So I decided to make these fresh blueberry muffins for everyone and they were a huge hit! And they weren't just loved by the kids, the parents loved them too! After we finished supper, the kids had theirs with a glass of milk, and the parents enjoyed the fresh muffins with a cup of decaf coffee! It was a perfect combination!

This recipe looks super yummy and I’m excited to try it. I have everything but the blueberries. I’m contemplating using fresh apples and topping it with cinnamon instead of blueberries. I love all your recipes. They are quick and simple but delicious.
