Ingredients for BREAKFAST SAUSAGE BALLS
2 1/2 cups Pancake Mix
2 cups shredded cheese
1 lb breakfast sausage
1/4 cup milk
Optional variations:
For a twist, you can add different ingredients such as diced jalapeños for a spicy kick, or mix in some herbs like parsley or chives for added freshness. If you prefer a different type of protein, ground turkey or chicken sausage can be used as healthier alternatives.
For a heartier version, consider adding vegetables like finely chopped bell peppers or onions to the mixture. This will not only enhance the flavor but also boost the nutritional content of your breakfast.
Cooking tips: Watch the sausage balls closely as they bake. Oven temperatures can vary, so you may need to adjust the baking time slightly. If you like them extra crispy, you can leave them in for an additional 2-3 minutes, but make sure they don’t burn!
Customization ideas: You can experiment with different types of cheese to alter the flavor profile. Cheddar, pepper jack, or even a blend of cheeses can give you varying results!

Breakfast Sausage Balls Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixer, mix together pancake mix, cheese, sausage, and milk until well combined. I love to use my KitchenAid to mix everything up real good. You can also use your hands to ensure everything is blended perfectly. Once everything is well combined, use a cookie scoop to evenly scoop the mixture. You should be able to get about 24 depending on the size you make the balls. I suggest using a large Sheet Pan so you can cook them all at once. On a parchment paper-lined baking sheet (these Parchment Sheets make clean up so easy), bake at 350 for about 20 minutes until lightly brown on top! Enjoy!

Breakfast sausage balls recipe please and have a blessed weekend
Hi Joann, the recipe is in the post here on the website
A friend makes these for church. Now that I have the recipe I can’t wait to make them too.
Do you really not cook the sausage first?
Correct. It cooks when you bake it.
Do you use a ‘complete’ mix? The kind where you typically just add water?
yes
This looks nice and easy for what looks like a Yummy addition to breakfast menu !
Now I have to go back to the store! 😳
Delicious! I’m always looking for breakfast options for my kiddo who has an egg allergy. This was a hit!
Sausage balls are so good!!
This is hands down one of our most favorite meals! I make tons of extra to freeze for a quick heat up and go, or for when my husband leaves for his work hitch for 2 weeks I send some frozen ones with him. So yummy dipped in country gravy!
