Caesar Pasta salad is perfect for a main meal, side or lunch! This one is off the chain!
So without further delay, here is how I did it:
Caesar Pasta Salad Ingredients:
Head of Romaine chopped
Rotini pasta -16 oz
Croutons – entire bag or 3 cups
Crumbled Bacon – 8 pieces of bacon
1 1/2 Tbsp of Persian Lime Olive Oil – (you can use regular if that’s all you have) just love our infused oils.
Chicken- 2 chopped up chicken breasts
1 Tbsp Kinders no salt garlic & herb
1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
3/4 cups Ranch
3/4 cups Caesar dressing
1 Tbsp Salad supreme seasoning
Caesar Pasta Salad Directions:
In a medium skillet add Olive oil – I am using Persian Lime Infused Olive Oil (game changer for flavor) in pan heat until sizzles
Add 2 chopped into cubes chicken breasts
Add 1 Tbsp of Kinders no salt garlic & herb seasoning
Cook 6-7 mins until chicken is done and turn burner off
In a medium skillet place chopped bacon I use kitchen shears to cut and cook bacon until crispy. Once crispy take out of skillet and place on paper towel to soak up excess grease
As that is cooking bring water to a rolling boil and cook rotini pasta
Chop up a head of romaine lettuce
And once pasta is cooked drain and rinse with cold water
Grab a large bowl preferably one with lid and pour fully cooked and drained pasta in large bowl, then add chopped lettuce, cooked and seasoned chicken, chopped and cooked bacon
All the kitchen essentials that I used to make and store this amazing Caesar Pasta Salad are linked HERE for your convenience. Absolutely, obsessed with these stainless steel mixing and storing bowls with lids set from Viking.
Add 3/4 cups of each dressing (could start with 1/2 cup of each and add to desired amount )
Add salad supreme seasoning to top then pour on croutons and mix real well
Lastly add shredded Parmesan cheese
Mix and serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 mins and serve.
Best if eaten the day you make. As the lettuce starts to wilt and the croutons lose the crunch the longer it sets.
I had to have a quick bite… and Lulu (my adorable fur baby) is secretly hoping I will drop some so she can have a bite too!
CBM Tip: You could make ahead (even the night before) and then add chopped romaine and croutons prior to serving too!
