Video Tutorial: Caramel Apple Pretzel Bites
For those who love a step-by-step tutorial here is one for you below!
Ingredients: Caramel Apple Pretzel Bites
2-3 apples variety
8 oz caramel
1/2 cup peanuts chopped
1 cup pretzel snaps
caramel drizzle
Instructions: Caramel Apple Pretzel Bites
Preheat Oven 350
Take a large sheet pan and cover with parchment paper – this will help with easy clean up
Take 2-3 apples and cut them in small cube pieces. I like to use a variety of apples from fuji, honey crisp to granny smith.
Soak all pieces of apple in a bowl with lemon juice or sprite to keep them from browning.
On the sheet pan cover with pretzel snaps about a quarter inch or so a part, then take one caramel and place on the top of the pretzel snap
Once all snaps are covered with caramel bites, you will want to place in oven for about 3-4 minutes just enough time for the caramel to melt a bit
While the caramel is melting on the snaps in the oven, you will want to chop up some peanuts and set aside
Once the caramel is ready and slightly melted on snaps you will want to take out of the oven and place on each snap a piece of the chunked apple
Once apple is secured on each snap, you will want to drizzle caramel on top of each
Then take the crushed peanuts and place them on each snap covering entire sheet.
Then take a cocktail pick and stab each one for easy grabbing and enjoying. This is not necessary but makes it super fun look for entertaining.
Now it is time to enjoy!!
