If you are trying to add protein into your diet these Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Protein Balls are a scrumptious way to do just that! 

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Protein Balls

No baking required, only a few ingredients and a great nutritional snack! Especially those teen boys who are always hungry and looking for a satisfying and filling snack.

And guess what mama… they are packed with about 6 grams of protein! (depending on what protein powder you use)

These are a sweet little treat but if you wise you could omit the chocolate chips and add dates or just omit all together, but these are delicious just as outlined and you are using honey as the source of sweet! So that is a WIN when it is used alone too!

Here is how I did it:

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Protein Balls Ingredients:

3.5 cups of Old Fashion oats

3 heaping scoops vanilla protein powder

2 scoop chocolate protein powder 

This is equivalent to about 3/4 cups of protein powder when measured out from scoops. 

1.5 cups peanut butter

3/4- 1 cup mini choc chips

2/3 cups honey

2/3 cup water

Makes about 30-45 balls 6 (ish) grams of protein per ball (depending on the size of the ball)

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Protein Balls Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl 

Combine wet ingredients

Stir together until well combined

Scoop a Tablespoon of mixture and roll into a ball 

Lay out parchment paper and place balls on the parchment paper 

Once all protein balls are made you can place in a large baggie and place in refrigerator for storage for up to a week.

(can also freeze)

Makes approximately 30-45 protein balls depending on the size you make them

Ingredients
  

  • 3.5 cups Old Fashion Oats
  • 3/4 cup Protein Powder I did a half vanilla and half chocolate- but you can use all of the same
  • 1.5 cups creamy peanut butter I used All Natural Peanut Butter
  • 3/4 cup semi sweet mini chocolate chip
  • 2/3 cup Honey I use Pure Raw Unfiltered Honey
  • 2/3 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl
  • combine wet ingredients
  • stir together until well combined
  • Scoop a Tablespoon of mixture and roll into a ball
