Okay, here is the truth. I have a favorite meal, not the food itself (although it is delicious) but the meal. The time we spend at the table enjoying the yummy food and time with our family. Breakfast on Christmas Day is my favorite! There is just something so special to me about this time.
Everyone is still in their pajamas and slippers, there is wrapping paper strewn about and everyone has a smile on their faces. It just warms my heart in a way that is hard to describe.
But let's be real, the kids aren't going to wait to open their presents so eating before isn't an option.
Then by the time everyone has opened their gifts, you will have a house full of hungry tummies!
Now, I know you want to get to see the smiles as your children open their presents; you definitely don't want to be in the kitchen cooking and missing out on the excitement!
Well I have the perfect solution for you! This Christmas Morning French Toast cooks for about 30 minutes so it is just the right amount of time for the kids to tear open their gifts.
Then y'all can sit down to a delicious breakfast and get to truly enjoy the time together!
Just whip this up before the kids get up and stick it in the oven right as you are about to begin unwrapping!
Another plus, it will make your home smell amazing. Getting everyone hungry for the best Christmas Morning French Toast EVER!
