This will be a great recipe to get your kids involved with you in the kitchen! Did I mention, how super simple it is? Just grab your favorite chocolate cake mix, chocolate and vanilla frosting! Yup! Thats it!

I mean, I suppose you could make a cake from scratch if you would like- but Crazy Busy Mama is all about quick and convenient for easy game day snacks and desserts!

And this Easy Chocolate Football Cake is one you will want to make! I mean look at it? How can it not make you smile?

Simple ingredients to make an amazing taste!

Love this NonSTICK Bakeware Set – no need for spraying or greasing up its truly magic!

Here are a few visual steps for the Easy Chocolate Football Cake

Once your cake has baked fully and cooling remove from pan and place on a parchment sheet for easy clean up. Slice down the middle about a 2-3 inch section then remove. You can use this for cake pops in the future so hang on to it if you want!

Then carefully move the right and left side of the cake together like image below. Can you see the football shape coming together?

Then take your chocolate frosting and use a spatula to pile all frosting on top. Then take a Frosting Spatula and spread evenly over the cake. I like to use the parchment paper under the cake to move it around and get the sides frosted real well.

Take the vanilla and fill your Cake Icing Pen . You can also use a plastic baggie with a small hole cut on end. Be careful not to cut too big.

Then use your Icing pen to create laces that resemble a football.

And here is the end result! You will want to carefully lift up with a large cake knife or spatula and transfer to a cake plate.

Hope you not only enjoy making this with your kiddos but enjoy the scrumptiousness of it too!

Super cute right?
