Who doesn’t love an easy dessert for summer cook outs? If you answered yes, you have to try this patriotic cookie.

This American Flag Cookie is perfect for that upcoming BBQ celebration 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Great dessert for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day or any day of the summer! And the best news is, it is a cinch too! It makes for a perfect #CrazyBusyMama win, when it comes to scrumptious and fun desserts.

I mean how cute is this American Flag? Not only is it easy to put together, trust me its delicious too!

American Flag Cookie

Ok mama, here is how I threw it together! If you are looking for more summer time recipes for cook outs, you have to try this incredible Broccoli Slaw or if you are looking for a main course you will love my late husbands wings! You can find them here Q's EPIC WINGS and be singing his praises!

  • 16.5 oz sugar cookie dough

Icing

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Toppings

  • 8 oz Blueberries
  • 1/2 lb Strawberries
  • 6 oz Raspberries
    • Preheat Oven to 350
    • Roll out dough on round pan
    • Bake 9-12 minutes until done
    • Let cookie set and cool for 15 minutes

    Icing

    • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese and cool whip
    • Once combined slowly add sugar and blend until smooth

      • Spread icing over the cooled cookie

      • Wash fruit and use blueberries for the stars, and raspberries and strawberries for the stripes.

      • Slice strawberries long ways to use to decorate as a flag.Then line up raspberries diagonally across.
