This Heath Ice Cream Cake is a perfect variation to the traditional birthday cake if you have a birthday girl or boy who wants something besides cake.

My son doesn't like traditional birthday cake, so every year when it comes to his birthday he always ask for an ice cream cake. So this year, I decided to put his favorite candy bar in it and it was an absolute hit!

My first time making an ice cream cake, I will admit I was a bit intimidated but it is so much easier than I thought. In fact, after making my very first one I decided to make one for every birthday that year. So many fun possibilities with ice cream cakes and they are perfect for summer birthdays especially.

You don't need to wait for a birthday for this Heath Ice Cream Cake, it is equally as yummy for those who want a cold sweet treat to beat the summer heat!
