These ice cream sandwiches literally take minutes together, and look so fu and colorful for your 4th of July cookout or gathering. No need to heat up the kitchen to make these scrumptious cold treats. Perfect easy throw together crowd pleaser! You can serve immediately, however they are best if you let them set up in the freezer for an hour prior to serving.
You need literally only two ingredients to throw these together! Ice cream sandwiches and festive sprinkles. I did a variety of sprinkles, but you can stick with one type of sprinkle is you wish.

Ingredients: Patriotic Ice Cream Sandwiches
- 36.8 oz Ice Cream Sandwiches – 1 box of 16 minis
- 3 oz sprinkles
Instructions: Patriotic Ice Cream Sandwiches
- Take mini or regular size ice cream sandwiches and unwrap them all
- You will want to work fast, so you make sure they don't melt
- Take sprinkles and pour each one in a shallow bowl
- Take each ice cream sandwich and dip them in the shallow bowl dipping and re-dipping on each side until covered.
- Place back in freezer for an hour before serving or serve right away

You can easily double the size of ice cream bars if you have a larger crowd. You can also do mini or regular size sandwiches.
Crazy Busy Mama TIP: I used patriotic sprinkles, however you could use any sprinkles that you would like to use that would work for your particular theme.
You can freeze and serve individually by adding sprinkles to each and wrapping each of them in foil and taking one out as you want to enjoy one.
