I started this blog with the intent of helping crazy busy mamas just like me with quick easy recipes to help them gather around the dinner time table with their sweet family, and it has morphed into so much more!
So if you are new to my Crazy Busy Mama Blog, Welcome!

Let's face it, wether you like cooking or not once you are a mom it just comes with the territory. Someone is always hungry and a meal always needs to be prepped, cooked, or cleaned multiple times a day. As a mom, keeping up with meals can get super overwhelming! Honestly, I don't know a mom who wants to spend all of her time in the kitchen preparing a meal. Rather, I am pretty sure every mom wants to spend the little time she does have with her family around the table enjoying that meal together. It is about the time together not the meal. So remember mama, it doesn't have to be Pinterest worthy it just has to be a meal that pulls your family together! Of course yummy food helps with this, but that is where this Crazy Busy Mama helps!
You can check out all sorts of tried and true QUICK FAMILY FRIENDLY RECIPES HERE that are absolutely delicious and require little time in the kitchen, getting you back to where you want to spend that time which is around the dinner table!
It is all about the intentional time together as a family! Unbeknownst to us, the picture below is our last time together gathering around the dinner table together as a family. Just a few short days later we would suddenly lose my amazing husband and my kids father 💔

I hope this is a reminder to cherish your time together and make every effort to schedule in that family dinner table time.

BACKGROUND of CRAZY BUSY MAMA
Crazy Busy Mama blog was birthed alongside with my incredible husband Quintin in January of 2024 after a huge request from several viral social media videos requesting to have recipes in one organized spot, and just 4 short months later I lost my husband, best friend and business partner.
Many of you know I lost my husband in April of this year. If you are unfamiliar with our sudden loss of Quintin, you can read about it here. Our children and I are grieving every single day, but even in the midst of such grief, I am in awe of how my children have shown their love and excitement for me. I regularly find myself thinking they are each like their dad in their own way, and I love seeing him in each of them!
Honestly, it has been hard to continue on with life after his sudden passing much less navigating the Crazy Busy Mama blog. Lots of trial and error and trying to figure out how to successfully continue on with the business of Crazy Busy Mama. We were the perfect partnership. He was everything I was not, he was the more organized one running everything behind the scenes and I was the creative, the one who kept the creative content flowing and made sure we had plenty of content to blog about.
Crazy Busy Mama came on to the scene around the time of the pandemic when we were all struggling how to make sense of the world.
I don't consider myself a chef or even a foodie yet here I am running a super successful FOOD BLOG and was even announced BLOGGER OF THE YEAR and awarded BEST LOCAL BLOG AWARD you can read about here. Seriously so humbling since my blog had only been up for less than a year, what an honor.
MY PASSION IS STILL THE SAME
Even though, my life looks completely different my mission is still the same! The dinner table is the foundation of the home. It is where we come together and are welcomed just as we are. It is where we give thanks together as a family, have conversations, instill family values and at times have those difficult conversations but it is what is necessary to build that strong family unit. I still have a passion to help others to have intentional time around the dinner table and continue to do the same with my sweet family continuing on that family tradition even without Q.
I share a bit about this burning yet difficult desire in this video below.
Reclaiming the Table reminds me of the song “Come to the Table” by Sidewalk Prophets
We all start on the outside
We're outside looking in
This is where grace begins
We were hungry, we were thirsty
With nothing left to give
Oh, the shape that we were in
And just when all hope seemed lost
Love opened the door for us
He said, “Come to the table
Come join the sinners who have been redeemed”
Take your place beside the Savior
Sit down and be set free
Come to the table
Come meet this mighty crew of misfits
These liars and these thieves
There's no one unwelcome here
And that sin and shame that you brought with you
You can leave it at the door
And let mercy draw you near
So, come to the table
Come join the sinners who have been redeemed
Take your place beside the Savior
Sit down and be set free
Come to the table
Come to the table
To the thief and to the doubter
To the hero and the coward
To the prisoner and the soldier
To the young and to the older
All who hunger, all who thirst
All the last and all the first
All the paupers and the princess
All who fail, you've been forgiven
All who dream and all who suffer
All who loved and lost another
All the chained and all the free
All who follow, all who lead
Anyone who's been let down
All the lost, you have been found
All who've been labeled right or wrong
To everyone who hears this song, oh!
Come to the table
Come join the sinners, you have been redeemed
Take your place beside the Savior
Sit down and be set free, whoa
Sit down and be set free
Come to the table
Come to the table
Sit down and be set free
Come to the table
Coming to the Table has a comfort to it… the verse in psalms ….
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. –Psalm 23:5
Emphasizes God's provision and abundance in your life even in the face of adversity! HE offers a place of comfort, sustenance and peace. In turn God is not only providing but honoring and overflowing blessings to His children. We are His Children!
Reclaiming the Table is a representation of what Christ is offering to us. We as Crazy Busy Mamas are mirroring that in our family in an imperfect way trusting that God shows up in the unknown and fills those gaps that we didn't even know we needed filled. All we must do is provide a space and time for our children and allow God to show up.
My newest Crazy Busy Mama Merch Drop signifies this very mission as Jesus himself modeled with the disciples at the Last Supper before He went to the cross to atone for the sins of the world and was resurrected defeating death once and for all. We are all welcome to join at the heavenly table, but we must choose!
You can grab your COME TO THE TABLE shirt HERE to help remind you of the importance of the #ReclaimTheTable MISSION

Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God. Luke 14:15
Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb! Revelation 19:9
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
So glad we made dinner time a priority around the dinner table, I would never imagined my life as a widow at such a young age all while raising 4 teens.

So if you fell on my blog because of a viral video, thank you for taking the time to check it out and support my mission on helping busy families reclaim the table. Even though, Crazy Busy Mama looks different than it ever has I still have a huge passion to help others reclaim the table with their family #RECLAIMTHETABLE . I have used the hashtags #CrazyBusyMama and #ReclaimTheTable to help to spread this mission and I hope you tag me on social when you share a Crazy Busy Mama meal so we can link arms together on this mission.
