I don't know a person who doesn't love monkey bread! But have you ever had Savory Monkey Bread? If not, it is an absolute must try. This is such an easy breakfast to throw together that everyone in the family will enjoy.

This savory monkey bread would be perfect for entertaining or a brunch too!

So if you are looking for an easy throw together breakfast idea, this savory monkey bread is it! Trust me this would be a great staple for dinner too! I mean who doesn't love breakfast for dinner?

If you love breakfast, you have to try these Hawaiian French Toast rolls they are so yummy and make the perfect weekend breakfast. Ok back to the monkey bread, here is how I put together the Savory Monkey Bread.

Ingredients: Savory Monkey Bread

  • 12 eggs scrambled
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • salt and pepper as desired
  • 32 oz biscuits grands
  • 9.6 oz sausage
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions: Savory Monkey Bread

  • Preheat Oven to 375
  • In a large skillet slightly under scramble eggs add whipping cream and salt and pepper to taste
  • Generously spray Bundt pan and set aside
  • Once eggs are scrambled add precooked sausage (you will want to cut these up) – you can also fry up sausage to use as well.
  • Take 2 cans of grand biscuits and cut in fourths
  • In a large bowl add scrambled eggs, meat and the cut up biscuits and combine well

  • Once combined shred cheese and add to the mixture
  • Once everything is mixed well add to greased bundt pan
  • Bake at 375 for 25-27 mins

Once done flip over on to a cutting board to serve like pictured below.

Side Idea:

I would serve this Savory Monkey Bread with fresh fruit. We love grapes and strawberries, but any of your favorites will do.

Crazy Busy Mama Tip:

Make sure to grease the bundt pan real well and when you go to take it out put a cutting board over the top of the bundt pan and flip. Your Monkey bread should come out pretty easily.

You will want to use a non stick bundt pan like this one HERE You could also use bacon along with the sausage or replace the sausage with bacon
