Ok this slow cooker beef and broccoli recipe is absolutely delicious!! And if you are trying to eat a bit healthier, this one is a good slow cooker recipe to try! It's just as good as take out, and if you ask me I actually prefer this one. Once you taste this one, trust me you will be putting it on your meal time rotation. It's that good!

Once you have made this slow cooker beef and broccoli, it will undoubtedly be on your future dinner rotation! Would also be amazing with these homemade Air Fryer Crab Rangoons!

This is almost as easy as a dump and go crockpot recipe. It is a two step process but so simple to do.

Here is how I did it:

Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef chuck roast boneless, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 Cup beef consomme or beef broth
  • 1 Cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1/4 Cup Corn Starch For 1/2 Last Hour Only
  • 1/4 Cup drippings For 1/2 Last Hour Only
  • 3 Cups Broccoli For 1/2 Last Hour Only
  • sesame seeds garnish

Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli Video Tutorial:

For those of you who love a step-by-step video here is one for you. 

Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli Instuctions

1 1/2 pound beef chuck roast boneless, sliced into thin strips 

1 cup beef consomme or beef broth

1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce

1/3 cup dark brown sugar

1 tbsp. sesame oil

3 garlic cloves minced

Slow cooker: 5-6 hours (don’t want meat to fall apart which will happen if you cook much longer ) 

This slow cooker is my favorite and you can check it out HERE!

Last hour: 

1/4 cup drippings 

1/4 cup cornstarch

Mix together pour over top 

Mix bag of Frozen Broccoli Florets about 3 cups (I used one 14 oz bag) or fresh broccoli 


After broccoli is cooked it will look like this.

Its that easy! Simply, Serve with White or brown rice and ENJOY! I like to scoop mine just right over the top of rice!

You can even add a few sesame seeds to the top for a garnish if you wish!

You will have to try this one! I like it better than take out and so easy too!

Crazy Busy Mama Tip:

Looking to keep this dinner low carb? If so, replace jasmine rice and use cauliflower rice.

Ingredients

  • Last 1/2 hour: 
    1/4 cup drippings

Love to serve this Beef and Broccoli slow cooker meal with jasmine rice. If you are wanting to keep it lower carb, you can also use cauliflower rice too. 
Garnish with sesame seeds.
