Do you struggle with being a victim of your circumstance? If so, YOU are NOT ALONE!
This is a daily struggle for me, especially after the sudden loss of my best friend and husband for almost 25 years and my mothers recent diagnosis of stage 3 Ovarian Cancer – life is extremely difficult and everything seems so heavy! I have to constantly remind myself that although we do not get to choose what happens to us in life, we do get to choose what we react and respond to it.
THIS IS SO HARD friends!!
You can't control what happens to you, but you can control how you react to it.
Don’t become a VICTIM of your circumstances that’s where the devil wants you defeated. Satans goal is to get you down and keep you down. Satan's ultimate purpose is to steal, kill and destroy! This is his plot against you. In John 10:10 is says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”
Stay encouraged… With God all things are possible and His purpose is to give you a rich satisfying life. In fact later in John 16:33 He states, that HE has overcome the WORLD!!
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Lean into the hard! Instead of walking in your circumstances walk in healing and HIS PROMISE. He is working all things out for your good. ❤️🩹
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
Part of choosing my how I react to life when it completely knocks the wind out of me, is to renew my mind each morning and start committing scripture to memory and putting it on my heart! Then when storms of life hit, I put these words on my lips and recite them even when I don't feel it. In doing this, Jesus starts to supply me with what exactly I need for that moment and freely gives me a peace that surpasses all understanding in that time.
This is not an easy fete, but necessary in life to find ultimate healing and peace.

Being a Victim of your Circumstances is a natural response, and over coming them is a super natural response. In order to overcome and have those super natural response you must renew your mind in HIS Strength!
